TEiC Construction Services is Hiring a Project Planner Near Tampa, FL

The Project Planner works with project teams, analyzes project needs, and creates plans for tasks, timelines, and resource use. Prioritizing efficiency and risk management, the Project Planner addresses challenges to keep projects on track. If you're organized and ready to make a real impact, apply now! Essential Responsibilities: Project Schedule Management:

• Manage and update schedules with assigned resources, ensuring balanced resource allocation.
  • Generate manpower curves and histograms, analyze critical paths, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Actively monitor and address schedule delays, impacts, and deviations from the baseline.
  • Coordinate with Field Engineering and superintendents to identify schedule activities and logical installation sequences.
Project Controls and Reporting:
• Operate in accordance with the site-specific Project Controls Plan.
  • Provide input to weekly and monthly project reports according to the project calendar.
Material Requisitions and Walk Downs:
• Assist in the preparation of requisitions to ensure timely material delivery to meet installation dates in the schedule.
  • Perform walk downs to monitor the progress of work packages.
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years’ experience in scheduling/planning roles on direct hire construction projects.
  • Proficient in project scheduling software/tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management principles and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and dependencies.

The base pay range for this Project Planner role is $86,250 - $107,362.50 annually.
